Now is the time of year when traditionally the housing market begins to quieten down as we get closer to Christmas, however things this year are very different.

September and October have been extremely good sales months, and we anticipate this to continue for the remainder of the year.

There has been uncertainty from the media in terms of the market conditions, with positive and negative comments published. The number of properties available to buyers is currently low; with many sellers waiting to market their property in the New Year, and the high number of properties recently being sold.

Our figures show that of our sales agreed so far in October, 44% of these properties had been marketed for less than 8 weeks.

Spring is typically a good time to sell, but waiting to market your property in the New Year is unlikely to increase you chances of securing a buyer as the competition will be greater!
