thats the new watchword of Myles and Judy Tydeman.
For the couple are delighted to have opened a branch of their estate agency in their home village of Barton under Needwood.
The couple have run the successful agency Tydemans in Lichfield for the past five years - a business which recently had more SOLD signs outside homes in and around the city than any other agent, according to the website forsalesignanalysis.co.uk.
Now they have branched out into a village where there is a growing demand for homes – and where the duo can reasonably claim to have unrivalled local knowledge!
It is our home village and our children go to local schools - one at Thomas Russell Junior and one at John Taylor High, said Myles.
Opening a branch here made business sense, too, as there has been a growing demand for properties within the catchment area of John Taylor, which is such a highly-regarded school.
In our first few weeks, we have already been instructed to market, and agreed sales on several properties in Barton, and have seen a significant rise in our register of would-be buyers, Myles added.
The move has also brought a new lease of life for a refurbished High Street property that was formerly an art gallery.
And the couple have also reinforced their support for the village by agreeing to sponsor the Teddy Bears Ride at the villages popular Open Gardens and Scarecrow Festival weekend, to be held on June 19th and 20th this year. Tydemans also sponsors the Barton Rovers Junior football team.
We are confident that our new branch will offer an extra dimension for those looking to buy or sell homes in and around the village, Myles added.
